SUM Nursing College is a renowned, fast-growing and prosperous college in Orissa, connected to a full-fledged Medical College & Hospital, “ Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital .”

SUM Nursing College was established in the year 2004 with the approval of Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi and Govt. of Orissa and with affiliation from Utkal University . Now it is the constituent college of Siksha “O” Anusandhan University .

Siksha “O” Anusandhan An educational Society promoted by educationists and professionals was established in 1995. It has been registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.

The objective is to promote and develop professional education, research and training in Medical Sciences, Nursing Sciences, Engineering to cater to the professional manpower need of the country.
